Discover Landes life in the 19th century
It is in Sabers, a small town in the Landes near our campsite Biscarrosse, that you can go back in time by visiting the Ecomuseum of Marquèze. In the heart of a preserved area of 25 hectares, stroll through a district of the Landes de Gascogne faithfully restored and restored. You will discover the daily life of a village in the nineteenth century Landes. To get there, you go aboard the little train hundred years to cars classified as historic monuments to join the site! A reconstituted district allows us to imagine those who helped build Europe's largest industrial forest.

School activities at the eco-museum
Schools and other groups of children are welcome to the ecomuseum Marquèze Sabers to discover the Landes de Gascogne in 1890. Many workshops can be offered to younger, they will be captivated.
Children will discover typical information about the Landes, learn the secrets of making bread "as before", greet animals and hear exciting stories.
Various school activities are offered to entertain the young blond heads of the first cycle, to college. Each workshop and first explained then allows practice with small hands through games and other fun activities.
